About the Project
This section includes basic information about the project, our regular project updates which we call “fact sheets”, and short explanations of particular topics of interest, called “fresh look” papers. This section also includes some regional maps.
About the Project Documents
Corridor Plan
A central element of the project is for the rail investment to catalyze smart growth in the region. You’ll find the adopted economic development and land use plan in this section, along with information on stations and efforts by cities and towns to plan ahead for the rail. Funding
To build and operate the rail requires a mix of funding sources. We’ve included funding applications and other information here.

Environmental Review
The project is undergoing an extensive review to assess its impacts on natural, cultural, and community resources. You’ll find information about different route alternatives under consideration, as well as data about noise, traffic, wetlands, water and more in the 2009 Technical Reports we submitted to environmental agencies. This section also includes the official notices we are required to submit about the project, meeting notes from environmental working groups, and information and comments the public has shared with us through our civic engagement events.

Environmental Review Archive
Because the project has been in development since the early 1990’s, there are lots of documents that have been produced. These are no longer current or used, but are of value as part of the project history.
